First Day at NTU!
My new office at NTU MAE
Today marks my first official day as an Assistant Professor at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). I am thrilled to be on the ground to launch the Laboratory of Interfaces, Fracture, and Transport (LIFT).
The office looks a bit empty for now, but I am sure it will soon be filled with equations, thoughts, and joy.
I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues and welcoming the first cohort of LIFT researchers. Please feel free to contact!

The Principal Investigator of the Laboratory of Interfaces, Fracture, and Transport (LIFT), launched in January 2026 at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The laboratory explores the exciting intersection of fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, soft matter, living systems, and applied mathematics.
