Welcome! Our laboratory will launch in January 2026 at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, NTU Singapore. Led by Dr. Nan Xue, our group explores the fascinating mechanics at the intersection of fluid dynamics, solid mechanics, soft matter, living systems, and applied mathematics. Through a combination of experiments and modeling, we seek to uncover fundamental principles and use this knowledge to rationally design next-generation materials and sustainable technologies.
